In meinen Bildern beschäftige ich mich mit Raum – einerseits mit fiktiven Architekturen, die real existieren könnten, andererseits mit abstrakten Vorstellungen von Raum. Aus geometrischen Formen, perspektivischen Strukturen und Verdichtungen entstehen Kompositionen, die räumliche Illusionen erzeugen und zwischen Konstruktion und Imagination oszillieren.
Ich suche immer wieder nach neuen Verbindungen zwischen figurativen und abstrakten Elementen, ohne dabei eine eindeutige inhaltliche Lesart vorzugeben. Funktion und Bedeutung der Räume bleiben offen. Es sind archetypische Architekturen und Landschaften, die persönliche Assoziationen hervorrufen und Raum für eigene Interpretationen lassen.
In my paintings, I explore space - on the one hand through fictional architectures that could plausibly exist, and on the other through abstract conceptions of space. Compositions of geometric forms, perspectival structures, and spatial density create a sense of depth and oscillate between construction and imagination.
I continually search for new relationships between figurative and abstract elements, without imposing a particular interpretation. The function and meaning of these spaces remain undefined. They are archetypal architectures and landscapes intended to evoke personal associations and leave room for the viewer's own interpretations.
